Short Description
The teaching unit aims to be an introduction of the principles of computer network
systems. The unit has 3 modules and leads towards the development of a connection to the
Internet and the protocols involved. The unit looks at the principles of serial
communication, modem technology and Internet protocols. Participants will contrust a
simple two machine network and then develop a connection to the Internet. The unit makes
use of the Internet as a resource for the teaching unit and as a resource for the learning
material.
