Short Description
The teaching unit contains an introduction to the RS232-interface. It gives an explanation of the items:
1. Handshake protocol
2. Pin-functions of the RS232-interface
3. Halfduplex datatransfer

The teaching unit is aimed at students studying vocational courses in the field of telematic engineering (age 16-18, male and
female, full time or part time).

The material for this module contains a short familiarisation task for the communication package TELIX and two worksheets for communication by using a null-modem
