Short Description
This teaching unit allows students to study the main componenets of microprocessor based systems.  The unit is composed of three parts which cover the hardware, software and interfacing of microprocessor based systems.  The unit can be used as part of the GNVQ qualification in Engineering and implements modules 19 of that qualification.  To achieve the completion of the unit will require the use of hardware and software systems and the submission of course work to a suitably qualified tutor at you local institution.
