Short Description
This teaching unit allows students to study the main elements of software design. The unit is composed of 6 chapters which cover the design of software using the PASCAL programming language. The unit starts with simple defininations and leads through the use of arrays and modular software design. The unit can be used as part of a Higher National Qualification and implements the standard EdExcel unit software design methods. To achieve completion of the unit will require the use of the turbo pascal environment from Borland or other such software development system. Tutorial support will be required by an institution in your local area and submission of course work to a suitably qualified assessor.
